The Inn on Loch Lomond

Welcome to The Inn on Loch Lomond, also known as "The Inn For All Seasons"! Our history dates back to 1804 when we were originally built as a roadside establishment, catering to horse-drawn traffic passing just feet away from our front door on the A82 between Tarbet and Ardlui. Today, you can still experience a taste of that historic road by traveling along the A82 in the same area.

Over the past 200 years, we've welcomed countless visitors from all corners of the globe, and while much has changed, our commitment to hospitality remains unwavering. Our original building still stands, complemented by two substantial additions that reflect our growing popularity. The old road has transformed into our hotel's terrace and a peaceful cul-de-sac, while the successor A82 has shifted closer to the picturesque shore of Loch Lomond.

In January of this year, our family – Andrew, Rosaline, Janice, and Ray – became the proud owners of this esteemed Scottish hotel, marking our third successive ownership of a Scottish hospitality establishment. We recognize that nobody truly owns a hotel; rather, it becomes an integral part of one's life and legacy during their stewardship. Throughout our time here, we are acutely aware of the history and significance of The Inn on Loch Lomond to the many guests who have sought rest, nourishment, and refreshment within these walls.

Our mission is to ensure that every stay at The Inn is marked by happiness, comfort, and lasting memories. We are dedicated to going above and beyond to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Whether you're seeking a relaxing escape, a memorable dining experience, or simply a tranquil moment by the beautiful Loch Lomond, we strive to make your time with us truly special.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Inn on Loch Lomond and becoming part of your cherished memories as you become part of ours. May your stay be filled with warmth, hospitality, and the breathtaking beauty of our surroundings.

Just stayed with my mum for a overnight break. Room was immaculate and modern and beautiful decor. Had a great sleep woke up refreshed. Staff are super friendly and super helpful. Nothing is any trouble and they all work so hard. Douglas was amazing and his dog river made our stay. I wanted to take river home. Lovely hotel, good food and super views over Loch. Room was comfortable though more lighting would have been better. One thing I noticed was a staff member having dinner, with her dog lying on the chair next to her, no attempt was made to clean chair on leaving. No-one wants to sit on a chair that a dogs been on !!

Spent a weekend in the hotel for a family wedding close by. I worked in hospitality for many years and can testify to all the hard work that guests don,t see. The receptionist was the best I have come across, helpful and obliging always smiling ,breakfast and lunches tasty and plentiful, the room standard of cleanliness 10/10. Nothing was too much trouble even down to us arriving mid morning due to flight but the room was cleaned immediately after previous occupants left and we got in the room by lunchtime which was so helpful. Would definately return..
