Must be one of the nicest beer gardens in the UK. The view is insanely good and the beer is also decent. We didn’t stay in the hotel, but only went to visit for drinks a couple of times. It’s a shame they don’t do lunch every day but it wouldn’t put me off returning, if not just for drinks and the view!

Well, this place is absolutely beautiful. The owners have only had it for 2 years and have done a fantastic job. It has an old-world charm that makes you feel right at home, the rooms are large and well presented, the beds and pillows are super comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and tidy. Now the restaurant, the food was the best food we have had whilst being in the UK, even the haggis was palatable (First time having Haggis in Scotland, as when I had it in Australia it was woefull). The view from the bedroom window and the restaurant is breathtaking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay on Loch Ness.

No words I offer will do justice for this beautiful gem nestled on the banks of Lochness in the Highlands of Scotland. As a regular guest, I look forward to each visit knowing the relaxation and tranquility that awaits me from luxurious comfort, breathtaking views and mouthwatering food. For me consistency is key, and the Craigdarroch Team certainly deliver every time. The staff are very friendly and approachable, the rooms are of a high standard with great attention to detail to ensure your comfort, and the food.. well the food is incredible. The only hard part is deciding what to choose from the beautiful new menu. If you can time your stay to coincide with the Sunday Roast I promise you will not be disappointed. Looking out over the beautiful scenery, in a relaxed and friendly setting with a 3 course lunch cooked to perfection and the biggest, fluffiest Yorkshire Puddings; I make the trip just for this experience when I’m in the area as it’s the highlight of my weekend. Thank you Richard and Nigel for your exceptional hospitality, I’m looking forward to my next visit already!
