We had a wonderful weekend here. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It's an old building and very pretty but it does get a bit cold. We arrived late and the staff had already put the portable heater in our room on ready for our arrival so it was cosy and warm (which was very thoughtful of them). The bar area is just great. Really nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was decent too. Reasonable selection and good quality.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this unique hotel with great character and charm. The owners and staff where great, friendly and helpful when needed . The receptionist took us to our room once we checked in and I personally loved the old style decor this hotel made our stay in Scotland more amazing. some bits need a little touch up and fix but overall we had an amazing stay in a great location and perfect view. The breakfast was lovely and cooked perfectly. We did have a slight problem with the hot water but understandably its a old hotel and the whole experience for us was a perfect so we will be coming back in the summer.

Such a quaint and lovely stay! Loved the tartan all over the halls and the rooms, and the bar/restaurant area was great as was the food. Very cozy lounge area as well. Beds were comfy. Only negative was that the rooms were quite cold and the heaters don’t produce much heat. Would recommend for a quick stay!
