Loved this hotel. Full of character! Rooms are spacious with everything you need. Coffee tea, water & shortbread. Dressing gowns & slippers were provided. We had an original art deco bath & huge shower in room 21. No lifts though & we were on second floor but I guess it's a listed building. There is a fantastic beer garden . The staff were friendly & knowledgeable especially Amanda, the receptionist she was exceptional!! Just a small car park behind the hotel but you can park on the main street. I highly recommend a visit here. We will be back.

Lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and good food service. Everything is a little over salted (a Scottish tradition) but staff are great and food is very good quality and served promptly. Can't comment on the rooms as didn't stay there but have visited Inveraray before and always go to the George

Wow! Gorgeous hotel right on the water and on Main Street. The rooms are all decorated differently, in their own beautiful way to make it really special and memorable. The massive tub and updated bathrooms were a very nice surprise! Also the restaurant was delicious and perfectly located downstairs after a long day exploring.

I did not stay here, however we ate here and it was so good! I cannot stress that enough! We had fish & chips, beef pie and a lemon desert. Sean was our main waiter but another guy helped. They was very kind, comical and fun. They made the experience great, not only the food was perfect but very reasonably cost wise. I would highly recommend eating here instead of anywhere else in this town. (The cottage turned us away 45 minutes before closing but we are thankful). I will be back when I visit Scotland again.

Not only we stayed in this lovely hotel but we also ate here two nights in a row. Hotel itself is beautiful vintage from 1776 with beautiful rooms close the room. The hotel has a beautiful beer garden, great bar and a really great restaurant with amazing cocktails and dishes. The have new daily specials with a great selection of deserts and main courses. If you are in the area this place is a must try stop and reservation is highly recommended. All the hotel, bar and restaurant staff are very nice and the property is walking distance from the castle.
