Been in a few times for drinks but decided to try out the meals after a late night on the loch. Restaurant was busy but we were welcomed and seated swiftly. The young waitress was clearly run off her feet but she was very well organised. The slow service didn't bother us we sat and chilled and enjoyed the fire burning. When the meal did arrive the steak pie was amazing!! Would definitely go back for that 😋

The restaurant and bar is a must-stop on the West Highland Way. The views from the deck are excellent and the staff are fun and friendly, even going out of their way to help us with an issue with our luggage transfer. This is my second time on the Way and the Rowardennan Hotel will get a third visit when I return.

We stayed here while walking the West Highland Way. We arrived late in the day (around 18:30) and had to go through to the bar to check in. We arrived in the middle of a busy dinner service, so had to wait a little until someone was free to check us in. Check in was fast and the man kindly carried our bag to our room. Room was lovely (we had a bathtub!) and nicely appointed. We ate dinner at the Clansman Bar - heartily recommend the Cullen Skink! Service wasn't 100% but we could see they were busy and our food arrived quickly. Breakfast buffet was good, wide range of choices hot and cold. I wished we'd had longer because the location is amazing, right on the loch. Would have been nice to sit and watch the evening light on the water..

We stayed here are battling Conic Hill on day 2 of the West Highland Way. The staff were helpful and welcoming, the food was great, and the rooms were comfortable and cute. We even needed extra help in getting to the next town and they were super helpful. Highly recommend!
