Stayed here on a whim after struggling with the WHW day 1. The staff were excellent and more than accommodating. Once we found the room and dropped the bags we read the given letter and discover you have access to the leisure centre area as a bonus with the hotel. This includes their pool, hot tub, lounge area, sauna and steam room. They also have a kitted out gym upstairs which we didn't use. After a long soak we booked in for the evening meal and I highly recommend the pan seared chicken in peppercorn sauce. Food was hot fresh and really really fast. I sat in the bar for a while in the evening and enjoyed their hospitality. Breakfast the next day is an extra 25 pounds and is an all you can eat. Check out was 11 but we had access to the pool until 1. Would recommend for hikers and holiday makers looking to stop off before going further afield.

Beautiful wedding venue with excellent food and very attentive staff. hotel Rooms are nice but far too hot. The wedding rooms were decorated beautifully and went without a hitch. Great view of Loch lomond just 5 mins away.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were so so lovely. My husband wasn't well when there so they shuffled things around for us to extend by another day and they went above and beyond to help me get food for him to accommodate his diet. Truly lovely people.

We stopped at the Buchanan Arms on our first leg of the West Highland Way and we felt warmth and welcome when we walked in the door. The beds were comfy, the showers were hot and the food was great! The staff and service were also great and helpful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely awesome. Staff = awesome lovely, helpful, cheerful. Bedroom.. Can't fault it, very clean, spacious, lovely décor, large bathroom with large bath, shower 🚿 great, ( always love a hot high pressure shower). Tea and coffee and biscuits. The hotel is situated in a beautiful village, literally just off the main road, which is ideal 🙂. Food, second to none, the buffet breakfast is awesome, toast, scrambled eggs, haggis, sausage, tomato, beans, bacon, pancakes, sausage triangles, a variety of cereals, and cold drinks,,fresh orange 🍊/ apple juice, tea coffee ☕ and the staff are SO tentative. The restaurant is great, serving great food. The only criticism I have is that they stop serving certain foods at 20:00hrs, some of which would of been nice to have with our meal. ( Sticky toffee pudding, my favourite). Apart from that, a truly enjoyable awesome place. 101/100. Did I say the staff are awesome.. they are.👏👏👏👏😁. The bar and bar staff was great with an absolute great choice of drinks.
