Stayed in a superior pod for 2 nights. Stunning view of Loch Lomond from the pod and I was even able to hear the lapping of the waves from the loch. Perfect, relaxing break as location was so quiet. Ice cream was delicious. Breakfast included excellent homemade porridge and I had vegetarian options cooked to order. Amazing vegetarian haggis. My partner loved the proper coffee. Restaurant was value for money and every course was great. All staff were welcoming, especially the cleaning staff, who checked if we needed anything. Ideal location for walking in the area. Unspoilt compared to the other side of the loch. Wish we had booked a longer stay and can't wait to return.

We stayed here for three nights, 3-5 July. It was truly delightful. A great location, lovely staff, very pleasant room, excellent food. We were able to take walks through the oak forest and alongside the Loch, and we had a boat trip to Luss. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing environment.

First stop on the west highland way, and our favourite by a mile. Excellent value for money. Fantastic family room with two spacious sleeping areas. Well equipped with soap/shampoo/kettle/tea/biscuits. Delicious hot breakfast with lots of tasty options. Would definitely recommend and return here

We visited this pub twice and had meals both times. Although the menu is pub food and doesn’t try to sell itself as a restaurant the menu is simple but quite varied. The quality of the food is excellent. We particularly liked the method of ordering using their website which means you select your food and drinks online, pay for it online and then send it to the kitchen. An estimated time of delivery to your table is also given which on both occasions was accurate. Not sure about the hygiene associated with picking up your own cutlery from trays dotted around the beer garden though! Also, the QR code for giving tips didn’t work. Overall a very pleasant experience which we would repeat.

What a gem! We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our multi-stop trip through Scotland. The staff was very helpful, room was comfy and clean, loved the view of the Loch, and the restaurant and coffee shop were amazing! We ate there twice, it was so good! Right across the street is a nice little hike. Would very much recommend to stay and eat!!

We are a large group who stayed in several rooms as we hike the West Highland Way. This was our best accommodation yet. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food was hearty and delicious, and we experienced excellent service (especially since we weren’t the easiest group to accommodate). Additionally: we were so happy to have a fantastic whiskey list! It’s been surprising how, in the land of whiskey, the selection has been so sparse at other places. This list was a dream, organized by region, and more than we could ask for. Overall a great stay.
