Had no problem with the grey gull Inn, phoned up and booked straight with them for 1 night on outward leg of holiday and 1 night on return, only thing was 1st night we wanted twin room, and was given room with double bed, not nice when sharing with mother, was booked into same room coming back but emailed them and they change it to family room on ground floor, with no problems 😊. The bistro restaurant was attached to hotel good choice of food, the same with breakfast. Staff very friendly both at reception and restaurant, they also allow dogs to stay in rooms with you, which is great. Photos taken along road from the Inn

Absolutely lovely folk working there. Stayed for one night and made to feel so welcome...will definitely be using the place again. We had dinner which was very good, dining room gal was rushed off her feet but very happy and nothing was a bother. Slept like a log in a lovely room with a view...thanks

I had lunch here 19/06/21 and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the view was amazing and everything was extremely clean. My food was fantastic, I had a delicious portion of haddock and chips which was just amazing and then ended up having an afternoon tea too- the best scone I've ever eaten , I highly recommend. 💖

I ate here 3 nights running and had different dishes every night and was never disappointed, not even slightly. The dishes are not exotic or rare, but they are done with interesting and successful twists. The portions are a good size, and prices are reasonable. What really stands out is the cheerful friendliness of the staff. They are attentive and genuinely interested in giving excellent service, which they deliver efficiently - "in spades." I was not just an unusually lucky customer; everyone, as far as I could observe, was treated to the same excellent standard. I would return to eat here, just for the friendly service even if the food were mediocre, but the food isn't mediocre, it is very good. I certainly hope to eat at the Grey Gull on many future occasions.

Had a great over night stay whilst working in the area. Warm friendly atmosphere where nothing was too much bother for the lovely staff. James especially took great care of us and make fabulous cocktails. The hot tub experience was amazing and looks over the water. We ate in the restaurant and we where really impressed with the top class service and food you would expect in a high end award winning restaurant. Thanks to all who took care of us and made our work trip so memorable!would love to come back and experience it again. Scallops out of this world!
